Getting your video online. Tip #2

Record a newsworthy scandal and upload (check your media law first).

Although stings in the press can carry heavy repercussions for journalists and undercover reporters who invade privacy law – the average man in the street recording on their mobile phone a famous fashion designer‘s racist rant in a bar is not necessarily subject to the same rules – particularly in light of the “public interest” of slurring Nazi insults at unsuspecting Parisians.  As online media grows into a world-wide phenomenon – across even the poorest countries – it is interesting to see short examples of seemingly amateur online video giving rise to worldwide  journalism coverage.
